What is Reiki? The system of reiki is a holistic therapy, that views each person as a ‘whole’, as opposed to the traditional western view of healing, which separates the mind and body. The practice looks at the world in terms of energy; energy which vibrates in each living and non-living thing. Often, due to the emotional and physical strains of everyday life, the natural energy that runs through our bodies becomes blocked and unbalanced. Reiki works to re-align and re-balance our energy, working on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. What can I expect from a session? During our time together, I will work on the whole body using both hands-on and hands-off techniques, specifically focusing on the body’s energy meridians. It’s a subtle and non-invasive form of healing. Each session is unique and clients can experience anything from: Enhanced relaxation Release from physical tension/pain Emotional releases Release from symptoms of anxiety and depression Spiritual development Feeling re-energised or re-charged I leave time at the end of each treatment for clients who wish to discuss anything they experience during their treatment and I may offer insights into this where possible. Please review the confirmation to ensure the details are accurate. Arrival Time: Please arrive ON TIME for your scheduled appointment. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Notice: We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-Show Policy: Failure to show up for a scheduled appointment without notice may result in a no-show fee. Emergency Situations: We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible in case of an emergency preventing you from attending your appointment. Waitlist Policy: Waitlist Availability: If your preferred time slot is not available, you may choose to be placed on a waitlist. Notification: If an appointment becomes available, we will contact individuals on the waitlist in the order they joined. Response Time: You will be given a specified time to respond and confirm your availability. If there is no response, the appointment will be offered to the next person on the waitlist. Waitlist Removal: You may request removal from the waitlist at any time.
